Selematic S.p.A. is the market leader in secondary packaging and end-of-line solutions for the pasta industry. With a strong focus on innovation and decades of experience, Selematic now offers advanced packaging technologies for a wide range of products including cereals, legumes, snacks, ingredients & flour, frozen food, dried fruit, biscuits, coffee, pet food, and other packaged goods.

Headquartered in Eboli (Salerno – Italy), the company operates on a total area of 58,000 m², including 10,000 m² of covered facilities for mechanical machining, metalworking, painting, assembly, testing, and company offices.

Founded in 1978 by Vito Amabile and Angelo Carimando, who brought with them many years of experience as managers in leading companies in the pasta industry, Selematic has grown and continuously innovated over time.

In 2017, the Amabile family was joined by the private equity fund Vertis SGR, marking the beginning of a strengthening of the company’s organisational and managerial structure.

In 2021, Mindful Capital Partners took over from Vertis, assuming control of the company to continue its path of growth and international expansion.

    Buoyed by its market success, the company adopts the legal form of a general partnership and purchases the land where its first privately owned industrial facility will be built.

    S.p.A.

    Selematic becomes a Joint Stock Company (S.p.A.) following significant growth in revenue, international market reach, and the range of systems produced.

    Using only its own resources, Selematic S.p.A. acquires a new industrial facility — its current production site — covering an area of approximately 58,000 square meters.

    Growth and Expansion

    Selematic SpA moves to its new industrial facility, continuing to grow in revenue, the number of foreign countries served, and the variety of systems produced.

    Selematic SpA initiates the expansion of its industrial facility with the construction of a new 2,500 square metre warehouse.

    New Shareholding Structure

    The corporate structure of Selematic SpA changes: alongside the founding partner Vito Amabile’s family, the private equity fund Vertis SGR joins. A process begins to strengthen the organization and professionalize company management.

    The Vertis fund exits the shareholder structure and is replaced by a new private equity fund, MPC – Mindful Capital Partners. Selematic S.p.A. continues its journey towards the future with new growth and development projects.

Miele S.p.A.

Miele S.p.A. is a historic and recognised brand specializing in the design, production, and after-sales service of primary packaging equipment for the food and chemical industries.
Founded in 1968 by Michele Miele, the company adopted the Miele brand in 1991. During the 1990s, his sons José and Antonio Miele joined the business and contributed to its expansion into international markets. Today, Miele serves both the Italian and export markets, offering a comprehensive range of automated packaging machines and lines.
Based in Foiano della Chiana (Arezzo – Italy), Miele operates through two production facilities covering a total of 5,000 m².

In 2024, Selematic S.p.A. acquired 100% of Miele S.p.A., initiating a strategic integration program to align core functions such as sales & marketing, human resources, administration and control, and sustainability (ESG).
Miele’s portfolio includes medium- to high-speed machines—ranging from entry-level models to premium solutions—with a high degree of customisation. Thanks to a modular approach and a broad selection of high-quality accessories (e.g. labelling systems, precision dosers), Miele machines are compatible with a wide variety of pack formats and plastic materials, including recycled films.
Since 2008, the company has been at the forefront of innovation, developing advanced technologies such as ultrasonic sealing, further reinforcing its commitment to performance, sustainability, and customer-specific solutions.
