Sustainability is an integral part of Selematic Group’s growth strategy and is reflected in the objectives and actions set out in the 2026-2028 ESG Plan and reported each year in the Sustainability Report, with regard to the environment, people, the local community and the management of the business.
The Sustainability Report serves as a tool for transparency and dialogue with our stakeholders. By reporting on key performance indicators and environmental, social and governance impacts, the document outlines the path the Group has taken and the results achieved.
Reporting enables us to measure progress, highlight the initiatives we have carried out and identify areas where we need to continue working, thereby strengthening over time the Group’s ability to measure and reduce its environmental and social impacts.
The Sustainability Report forms part of a broader process, in which the ESG Plan serves as the tool for translating the identified priorities into concrete objectives, actions and targets.

ESG Plan
From reporting to action: our ESG Plan.
Selematic Group’s ESG Plan translates the findings of the double materiality analysis into a concrete roadmap of commitments, objectives and actions, aimed at combining economic results with the reduction of environmental and social impacts over the long term.
The Plan’s initiatives are mapped to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out in the United Nations 2030 Agenda to which they may contribute, as indicated for each action in the ESG Plan.
The Plan is structured around three key pillars — Environment, People and Governance — which represent the priority areas on which the Group focuses its efforts.
Environmental
We work to identify, monitor and reduce the environmental impacts associated with our activities in line with the objectives and deadlines set out in the 2026-2028 ESG Plan, promoting process efficiency and the adoption of technological solutions.
The ESG Plan brings together the initiatives already implemented, those currently underway and those planned for the management of our plants, with a focus on compliance with applicable legislation and the annual monitoring of the environmental performance reported in the Sustainability Report.
Governance
Selematic Group’s governance system is structured to provide transparency in decision-making processes, oversight of business risks and compliance with the relevant regulatory framework.
Sound governance forms the foundation of responsible and effective corporate management. It supports the pursuit of strategic objectives, safeguards the interests of stakeholders and contributes to the creation of long-term value.
Environment
Operiamo per identificare, monitorare e ridurre progressivamente gli impatti ambientali associati alle nostre attività, promuovendo l’efficienza dei processi e l’adozione di soluzioni tecnologiche in grado di favorire una gestione sempre più responsabile.
Il Piano ESG raccoglie le iniziative già attuate, quelle in corso e quelle pianificate per la gestione dei nostri stabilimenti, ponendo al centro il rispetto della legislazione applicabile e il miglioramento continuo delle nostre prestazioni ambientali.
Governance
Il sistema di governance del Gruppo Selematic è strutturato per garantire trasparenza nei processi decisionali, un efficace presidio dei rischi aziendali e la conformità al quadro normativo di riferimento.
Una governance solida rappresenta il fondamento di una gestione responsabile ed efficace dell’impresa. Supporta il perseguimento degli obiettivi strategici, tutela gli interessi degli stakeholder e contribuisce alla creazione di valore nel lungo periodo.
Social
Staff management
We promote a working environment based on recognising merit, the quality of professional contribution and respect for the dignity of the individual.
Relations with staff are managed in accordance with the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination.
Health & Safety
We operate a structured health and safety risk management system and promote a culture of prevention.
Adherence to operating procedures, adopting responsible behaviour and promptly reporting potentially hazardous situations are responsibilities shared by everyone working within Selematic Group.
Responsible supply chain management
We select and qualify suppliers and partners through a structured and documented assessment process.
The process takes into account various aspects, including the economic and financial profile, technical and organisational soundness, the local context, internal governance, and the required administrative and authorisation documentation, including in the areas of the environment, health and safety, and anti-mafia measures.
We also require suppliers to comply with current legislation and the Group’s Code of Ethics, and to ensure they are not involved in any violations of fundamental rights.
Qualified suppliers are subject to periodic reviews upon requalification to verify that they continue to meet the required criteria and comply with the applicable quality and safety standards.
